Champions Cup quarter-finals with five Premiership clubs.
The Champions Cup quarter finals list is set and five Premiership clubs make the list for the 2016 final eight.
After the Pool play-offs these are the teams that managed to get through to the European Champions Cup quarter finals. The five English qualifiers are Saracens, Northampton Saints, Exeter Chiefs, Wasps and Leicester Tigers all make it through to the next stage of the Champions Cup.
There have already been a few upsets, including three-time defending champions and Toulon only just qualifying as runners-up in the knock-out stages. This will also be the first quarter final with a no-show for the Irish Pro12 league.
That leaves eight English teams taking on the three French teams that include Racing 92, Toulon and Stadt Fancais.
The games scheduled looks tasty too, with a few favourites in the mix. With the English Premiership teams playing each other we have two guaranteed English club in the semi-finals and at least one English team in the final as the winners of the Northampton v Saracens and Wasps or Exeter meet with one going through to the final on the 14th May in Lyon.
The start of the quarter-final games will be played on Saturday 9th April 2016.
