The Challenge Cup quarter finals list is set with four Premiership clubs making the list for the 2016 final eight.
The four Premiership teams are Gloucester Rugby, Harlequins, London Irish and Sale Sharks. Gloucester Rugby go through as the only team that is unbeaten in the Pool knock-out stage.
The Challenge Cup has proven to be invaluable training tool for teams that changed out their 1st team selection. This is going to pay dividends to those teams that start bleeding players to the Six Nations that starts next weekend.
Pro12’s Connacht and ND Dragons make the quarter finals with France’s Top 14 sides FC Grenoble, Zebra and Montpellier all qualifying.
Newcastle Falcons narrowly missed out on points after finishing 2nd in Pool 1 on 16 points. Worcester Warriors haven’t had a good European tour, finishing bottom of pool 4 having lost 5 out of 6 games.
The Quarter finals all take place on the 9th April, with at least one English team going through to the semi-finals in the Harlequins vs London Irish game.
The others are Gloucester who take on NG Dragons, FC Grenoble take on Connacht and Sale Sharks Take on a very impressive Montpellier.
